Rob Greens is a freelance writer for film, television and radio.
Rob has an MA in Screenwriting and Producing for Film and Television from University of Westminster where he spent two years under the wing of mentor Steve May. He worked closely developing a feature film under the guidance of Nick Goldsmith (The Son of Rambo, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy) amongst others. He was awarded the University’s scholarship in academic excellence and achievement. Rob was awarded a distinction in the MA in Film Studies from the University of Kent in 2001.
With a passion for comedy and drama, he writes stories for film, television and radio. He has written several feature length high concept features in the comedy and romantic comedy genre. He is currently writing several television situational comedies and a radio play.
Rob's short script Age Concern was selected for the ‘One Minute Wonder’ competition coordinated by Final Cut, Screen South, Lighthouse and Brighton Fringe Festival. Rob produced and directed the script into a one-minute film which was awarded first place by television and film industry professionals.
Rob lives in Brighton, spending any spare time he has with friends, in the Duke of York Cinema or on the beach.
